Systems we install
System
Composite Cladding
Composite cladding panels combine an outer and inner metal skin with an insulating core, giving excellent thermal performance in a single lightweight system. Widely used on new build and refurbishment projects, composite panels offer a clean, modern finish alongside strong weather resistance and low maintenance requirements.
Request a SurveySystem
Single Skin Metal
Single skin metal roofing and cladding uses a single profiled metal sheet, typically specified where insulation is provided separately or isn't required. It's a cost-effective, durable option well suited to warehouses, agricultural buildings and other structures where budget and simplicity are priorities.
Request a SurveySystem
Double Skin Metal
Double skin metal systems use two profiled metal sheets with insulation sandwiched between them, built on site rather than pre-formed as a panel. This gives strong thermal performance and durability, and is a common choice for larger industrial roofs and cladding installations.
Request a SurveySystem
Standing Seam
Standing seam roofing uses raised, interlocking seams between panels rather than exposed fixings, giving a clean appearance and excellent weathertightness. It's a popular choice where visual quality matters alongside performance, and suits both low and steep pitch applications.
Request a SurveySystem
Secret Fix
Secret fix systems conceal all fixings beneath the roofing or cladding material, giving a smooth, uninterrupted finish with no visible screws or bolts. This reduces potential leak points at fixing locations and gives buildings a more contemporary appearance.

Fibre Cement
Fibre cement roofing and cladding offers a durable, low-maintenance alternative to metal systems, with good fire resistance and a distinctive appearance. It's often chosen for buildings where aesthetics and longevity are priorities alongside practical performance.
Request a SurveySystem
Low Pitch
Low pitch roofing systems are designed for roofs with a shallow slope, where standard profiles may not shed water effectively. We install systems specifically engineered for low pitch applications, ensuring weathertightness even on roofs below the typical minimum pitch.
Request a SurveySystem
Flat to Pitch Conversion
Flat to pitch conversion replaces a problematic flat roof with a pitched structure using a conversion framework, resolving the recurring leaks and shorter lifespan typically associated with flat roofs, without a full rebuild.
Request a SurveySystem
Asbestos Cement Removal
We carry out non-licensed, non-notifiable removal of asbestos cement roofing and cladding products, safely stripped and disposed of via a bonded skip to a certified disposal site, in line with the Control of Asbestos Regulations.

Gutter Linings
Proprietary gutter linings resolve persistent leaks in internal and external gutters permanently, unlike painted or felt patch repairs. Installed on new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects alike, linings are backed by manufacturer guarantees.

FAQs
Common questions
If your question is not answered here, call the estimating team on 01305 770433.
What areas do you cover?
Tek Clad Ltd delivers industrial roofing and cladding projects across the UK, working with commercial clients, developers and principal contractors nationwide. Our team is equipped to survey and mobilise wherever your project is based, regardless of location.
Do you work on occupied buildings?
Yes. Many of our refurbishment and repair projects take place on live, occupied sites, and we plan our work carefully to minimise disruption to your operations. Where needed, we can phase works, work outside normal hours or section off areas to keep your business running throughout.
How does the survey and pricing process work?
Every project starts with a site survey. From there we provide a detailed quotation covering the recommended system, timescale and cost, so you know exactly what to expect before any work begins.
Do you remove asbestos roofing and cladding?
We carry out non-licensed, non-notifiable removal of asbestos cement roofing and cladding products, in line with the Control of Asbestos Regulations. This covers the type of asbestos most commonly found in older industrial and commercial roofs. We are not a licensed asbestos removal contractor and do not undertake licensed asbestos work.
What is the difference between strip & replace and overcladding?
Refurbishment can mean either a full strip and replace, removing the existing roof or cladding entirely, or overcladding, where a new system is installed over the top of the existing structure. Overcladding is generally faster and less disruptive, while strip and replace creates an as-new building environment. We can advise on the right approach following a survey.
What guarantees or warranties do you offer?
Warranty terms depend on the system installed and the manufacturer’s own guarantee, which we will confirm as part of your quotation. As NFRC members we work to recognised industry standards, giving you added assurance over workmanship and materials.
Which roofing and cladding systems do you install?
We install a full range of systems including composite cladding, single and double skin metal, standing seam, secret fix, fibre cement, and specialist low pitch and flat to pitch conversion solutions. Our team will recommend the right system for your building type and budget during the survey.
