Can roofing work be carried out without closing the shop?
In most cases, yes. We plan retail projects around your trading hours, phasing work or scheduling out-of-hours where needed to keep the unit open to customers.
Do retail units built before the 1990s often contain asbestos cement roofing?
Yes, particularly older retail parks and trade counters. We carry out non-licensed, non-notifiable removal of asbestos cement roofing and cladding as part of many retail refurbishment projects.
Does the roofing system affect how the shopfront looks?
It can. Systems such as standing seam or secret fix give a cleaner, more contemporary finish, which we can factor in alongside performance requirements during the survey.
