The project
A 40mm composite panel roof with factory-assembled GRP roof lights, suffering widespread plastisol coating failure and ongoing water getting in.
SB Joinery, a returning client, had roof leaks and knew the roof was near the end of its life. They also wanted the building to comply with current Building Regulations.
In three weeks we upgraded the glass fibre insulation to meet current Building Regulations, installed new Tata 0.7mm roof sheets in Goosewing Grey, and replaced the old plastic gutters with new steel trimline gutters.

Working around a live business
The main challenge was managing the work alongside the day-to-day running of SB Joinery, with the business carrying on below and around the roof.
Scaffolding and safety nets kept the work area safe while the old roof was upgraded and the new gutters went in.
