The team
Tek Clad Ltd directly employed site operatives are all component, experienced and qualified in working at height together with training for manual handling. With 50% of the workforce currently NVQ qualified, the other 50% are additionally working hard to achieve their NVQ qualifications. Each is trained in first aid and several hold (SSSTS) Site Supervisor Certifications. All carry current CSCS cards, IPAF and most have CPCS qualifications for telescopic handlers.
We at Tek Clad take pride in attracting some of the brightest young people into the industry, guiding and assisting them to become the most competent available to the roof sheeting and cladding industry. Each team's site vehicle is supplied with specialist tools and equipment, first aid kits and eye stations, in van power and charging facilities. All carry a range of ancillary competent needed for a day's activities on site. Additionally, each operative is provided with the correct and up to date personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety whilst working on our projects.
As with all construction companies we also use subcontract labour. All our subcontract workforce is vetted using our in-house questionnaire and quality checking process. By doing so we ensure that the labour we use are not only competent but also have the correct level of training and insurance in place. All the subcontract labour we currently use have worked for Tek Clad Ltd in the past so we can be confident that they shall achieve our high standards.

Ian Hambidge Mior
Managing Director
Ian started trading as Tek Clad in 2010, founding Tek Clad Ltd 2012. Ian has worked in the industry since 1996 with his family, who started within the industry over 50 years ago.
From starting as a site operative, he has now worked his way up through the industry achieving a very broad and comprehensive knowledge of installation practices and materials specifications.
Obtaining and maintaining his site management qualifications on the way, Ian is a fully committed 'hands on' MD who still enjoys running projects, meeting clients and all industry professionals.
Michael Pryke GIOCS MIOR
Office Manager
Mike has contributed to the industry for over 30 years starting in the steel industry as a Contracts Manager and later taking on the challenging role of Managing Director, Mike had over 50 personnel reporting to him.
Over the past 10 years as a City & Guilds PTALS grade 4 educator Mike has helped train the industry in contract management and health & safety. Previously having co-chaired the NFRC National Health & Safety committee and currently taking a seat on the ACR (Advisory Committee for Roof Safety) committee for RIDBA, Mike is IOSH qualified and driven to advance the companies Quality and Health & Safety competence through training.
As an appointed person under the LOLER regulations, Mike will often be producing crane plans and can be found on site managing those lifts.
