A huge priority for the roofing industry is health and safety, in particular, working at height. The UK Government have started industry consultation on improving the general understanding and working practice within these areas. One of our management staff through the ACR committee has attended an all-party select committee meeting as a speaker expressly to address parliament on this issue.

At the best of times, roof sheeting and cladding can be a dangerous occupation. At Tek Clad Ltd we put the safety and wellbeing of all staff members, sub-contractors, as well as our clients at the forefront of our thoughts when planning each project. This has been recognised by the NFRC who have issued Tek Clad Ltd with top industry Health & Safety awards year after year.

We have an extensive health and safety policy and professional, independent advice provided by P A Safety Services which are a long-established external Health & Safety company, highly regarded within their industry sector.

Our in-house management team are IOSH & CSCS qualified with virtually unrivalled experience with all safety matters regarding the disciplines of roofing and cladding.

All activities are carried out following the prior issue and approval of task specific, project-based method statements and risk assessment. Our clients are issued with a copy prior to any work commencing. Where appropriate, we then discuss fully all the works sequencing, why they are being done, the risks, and more importantly how we can reduce inconvenience or disruption to our clients for the duration of those works.
