Cadbury Building A, Sparkford, Somerset

Tek Clad delivered a full roof over cladding project at Cadbury Building A, upgrading the original 1991 roof, which had suffered significant corrosion at the sheet end laps.

Works included cutting back the roof tails to access and straighten the gutters, installing Plygene lining with new steel bracket supports, and adding angled eaves closures for improved drainage and easier maintenance.

A new spacer bar system and full roof insulation were installed before fitting Tata Steel 0.7mm leather grain profiled roof sheets, with detailed flashings to the hips, ridges and valley gutter.

Completed on time and to budget, the result is a smart, durable roof with enhanced insulation, drainage, and long-term performance – another successful project for long-standing client Two Leaf Property Management.

The building is owned by Mr Andrew Rousell, Managing Director of Two Leaf Property Management, who commented:
